How to unify additional positions in retails
BUSINESS MODEL: FSDU (Free Standing Display Unit) LEASE
RETAIL: - defines the necessary number of displays needed for:
1. year-around allocation in its retail stores and
2. additional displays supplied from distribution centres of the retail chain as follows:
- number of displays = retail format x number of retails (1) or
- based on prearranged position agreements with suppliers (2),
- agreed number of additional monthly positions (3)
- records in eTrace programme supplier positions for lease of displays from eLog:
- agreed position with the supplier is recorded in the tracing programme (location and duration)
- based on records eLog issues an invoice for the lease to the supplier
- guarantees a minimal number of lease positions – “by insisting” on established unification of additional positions with suppliers
ELOG: - supplies required number of displays
- supports the supplier with production of visual materials
- issues invoices to the supplier based on records of the retail chain
- pays agreed fees to the retail chain
- offers additional maintenance services, display cleaning if needed
SUPPLIER: - accepts general terms of cooperation with eLog (trilaterally: retail chain – eLog – supplier)
- produces visual materials through eLog support or independently
- equips the display at its retail position and fills and replenishes it with products
Advantages of using FSDU are:
RETAIL CHAIN:
- unification and standardization of additional positions
- enables an attractive presentation of products, enables mobility of the full display
- retains an agreed fee by eLog for recorded leases by suppliers
- optimizes storage manipulation, minimizes waste, reduces environmental affects
SUPPLIER:
- simplifies implementation of agreed positions
- the display waits at agreed position, it only requires visual equipment
- visual materials of minimal volume for simple application
- price equal or lower to alternative solutions
- possible multiple use of the same visual materials due to quality build
- organised support for production of visual materials (voluntary decision)
Cooperation model
This solution is subject to a trilateral cooperation: retail chain + producer/supplier + lease service provider-eLog d.o.o., in the sense that the supplier leases the display from eLog d.o.o., supplies the retail stores the display filled with products, at which point the cycle concludes. eLog Adria d.o.o. collects the displays in retail stores, executes maintenance operations if needed and returns them to the supplier for another lease cycle. In agreement with the retailer alternative models of cooperation might be arranged.
There are 2 models available: 1/4 model with integrated wheels and 1/4 wheelless model. Both models are used for cargo transportation as well as for direct representation of commodity goods. Their dimensions correspond to the Europalette standards (600x400), which greatly facilitates manipulation and direct presentation at the point of sale. The main features of these innovative solutions are: endurance, transparency and foldability of plastic wool. Apart from the attractiveness of product presentation, it is also a significant contribution to the entire supply chain
Visual equipment
FSDU display are intended for presentation of visual identities of brands and companies. Three visual branding positions exist: 1. Header, 2. Shelf liner, 3. Footer. This approach greatly affects the overall cost of the leased display, as part of the material can be generalized and reused, while the other part is thematic to a current campaign.
